This morning we welcome @leadinghotelsoftheworld to the @deepsleepstudio roster of clients as we set forth the web design & development for a historical gem, the Knickerbocker Hotel in Times Square. One thing that speaks true is their attention to detail and first class level of service.
Nestled in the heart of Manhattan, the Knickerbocker Hotel first opened its doors in 1906. Built by John Jacob Astor IV, the hotel was designed to emulate the essence of luxury and prosperity. Over a hundred years later, the Knickerbocker is still the embodiment of opulence and wealth, with a modern twist. Now reborn into a sophisticated urban sanctuary, the hotel serves as an awe-inspiring glance into New York City’s past and future. Its iconic historical exterior will creates a stunning contrast against the hotel’s soon to-be-transformed interior, which will epitomize modern elegance and chic simplicity.
Master chef and Michelin-starred restaurateur Charlie Palmer will provide the vision behind the hotels entire culinary experience, while the staff continues the Knickerbocker’s century-old tradition of impeccable service and attention to detail. As a luxury lifestyle hotel, the Knickerbocker is a member of The Leading Hotels of the World portfolio and is slated to open in late 2014.
DeepSleep is proud and excited to be working with such a prestigious and iconic name.
Stay tuned for more details about what we’re dreaming up for this New York City legend. In the meantime, visit http://theknickerbocker.com to learn more about the Knickerbocker’s history and vision.
